Author's Bio
Catherine Stillwell has been a pet owner and advocate for over five decades. Over the years, she has volunteered at local animal shelters and rescues by cleaning the catteries and socializing with the cats. She and beloved Paulie would participate in fundraisers to help shelter dogs receive the medical care they needed to find their forever homes. Catherine resides in Wheaton, Illinois with her husband of 37 years. After three years of Paulie’s passing, she and her husband adopted a 2 year old terrier mix, Brutus. They are currently helping him overcome separation anxiety and submissive behavior. Brutus was an owner surrender.
“Paulie Finds His Forever Home” is a true story based on Paulie’s adoption. You can read more about this book on the tabs above.
Some of Catherine’s suggestions on how to keep pets safe and how to keep them from becoming a stray can be found at the back of this book.
Catherine's love for writing began in college back in 2010. Her English professor challenged her to reach for the stars. His mentoring molded Catherine into the writer she is today. Her first writings were blogs than she challenged herself to be a published author.
