I hope everyone had a safe New Year's!
On the eve of 2024, I sat and reflected on what transpired to my family and I in 2023. Some good and some not so much. It's the bad chain of events that I hope to turn around in this new year. For those who have been following me from the beginning, let's say, since 2014, you pretty much know everything. If you haven't, feel free to read my other blogs, home page and updates on my book. In doing so, you should be up to speed.
I'm anticipating that very good things are going to happen to me and my children's book. I can feel it. The way I approach this project this year will be very different from last. I'm cautious on who I trust and what information I release. My social media pages will start looking a bit different from how I've been posting info. There is nothing worse than trusting individuals then in a heart beat, you get kicked in the gut. One time is one too many. You know what I'm saying.
Regarding my novel project, I decided to take a different route with it. When I was a child, I fell down a flight of stairs and knocked out a tooth. I never got the space filled in because it what makes me unique. The other thing is when I hit my head on the way down, I believe something in my head shifted because my thinking process on the creative side is way different from others. So, this novel is going to be "out there." Interested? I bet you are! Yes, 2024 is going to be different and in a good way. I can feel it and I hope to follow me on this exciting journey. I can't wait to get started.
